WHO WE WORK WITH

Do you have a validated concept but lack the expertise to bring it to completion?

Companies come to us with a validated product concept — a working functional prototype or confirmed market demand — but need a complete engineering team to bring it to production readiness: from mechanics and electronics, through firmware, to the documentation required to launch series production. Typically, this means the CEO or CTO of a technology company without an in-house R&D department, the Head of Product responsible for launching a new product line, or an investor who wants to be certain before the next funding round that the product can actually be manufactured at scale, rather than simply demonstrated as a prototype.

EXAMPLES OF COLLABORATION

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Product Development Stages

01

Functionality

Together with you, we define the functional requirements and system architecture — what the product should do, what interfaces it needs, and where the boundaries lie between mechanics, electronics, and firmware. This stage determines the cost of everything that follows — a poorly defined architecture means rework at the prototype stage, not just changes to documentation.

02

Mechanics and Electronics

We design the mechanical structure and electronic schematics in parallel, taking manufacturing requirements (DFM/DFA) into account from the very first version. We iterate between CAD and simulation to avoid situations where the mechanical and electronic systems are designed separately and fail to come together.

03

Firmware

We develop firmware to control the electronics and integrate it with the mechanical system in a working prototype — from low-level drivers to application logic. We test on real hardware, not just in simulation, to identify real-time issues early.

04

Production Readiness

We prepare complete production documentation — BOMs, technical drawings, and test procedures — and conduct a series of pre-production tests. The result is a product ready for transfer to an SMT/THT production line without surprises on the factory floor.

COOPERATION PROCESS

How we start working together

01

Discovery

We talk about what you actually want to achieve — not just about technical specifications, but also about the budget, timeline, and constraints you are currently facing. We also determine whether we join as a full R&D team or as a subcontractor for a defined scope.

02

Pricing

You get a concrete figure and a realistic timeline, not "from–to" ranges. The estimate shows the breakdown into stages so you can see what you are paying for and when you can decide to continue or exit the project.

03

Implementation

We work in short iterations with regular checkpoints — you see progress in real time instead of waiting weeks for the first result. Every checkpoint is an opportunity to adjust course before an error turns into cost.

04

Delivery

We finish with a formal sign-off and full technical documentation — schematics, source code, production specifications. Everything is handed over to you, regardless of whether we deploy the product ourselves or hand it over to your team.

For a defined technical scope, we can enter the project as a subcontractor — without taking over the entire product.

WHY EXA22

Three things that set us apart

Full-stack under one roof

Mechanics, electronics, firmware, and cloud developed by a single team — without passing the project between external subcontractors at the intersection of disciplines. This means less integration risk, a single person accountable for the whole, and faster decisions when a compromise between mechanics and electronics is needed.

In-house EMC Laboratory

A rarity on the Polish market — engineering tests and CE certification support are performed on-site, without queuing for an external lab. We catch EMC issues at the prototype stage, not right before certification when a fix means weeks of delay and redesigning the board.

CBR Status

Research and Development Center (decision of the Ministry of Development and Technology, 2024) — a formal status that facilitates cooperation with procurement departments of large companies and opens the door to grants if you plan to fund part of product development with EU funds.

SECTORS

Who we work for

Vending and sales automation

We design vending devices from concept to prototype — cabinet mechanics, control electronics, integration with payments, and remote monitoring systems. Our own experience with the Anyvend family translates into faster client concept validation.

Medical technologies

Medical devices require mechanical precision, documentation compliant with standards, and full traceability of the design process. We work iteratively, with documentation ready for further certification, not just for a working prototype.

Industry

Automation and control systems for production lines — from sensors and controllers to integration with the client's existing infrastructure. Production downtime costs more than the project itself, so we validate assumptions before moving to a physical prototype.

Aerospace and defense

Components for the aerospace sector require rigorous documentation and tolerances that other industries do not accept. We have executed projects of this type for MTC S.A. (components for Blue Origin, Redstone US Army).
