A power bank manufacturer from the United Kingdom was looking for an innovative solution that would automate the distribution process of power banks and enable their rental in a convenient and scalable manner. In the face of growing demand for such services, the company aimed to transform traditional sales into a self-service rental model.

The goal of the project was to create a comprehensive mechatronic system that would enable the automatic rental and return of power banks within an integrated cloud-managed network.

Scope of work:

1. Concept of the rental station's mechanics with high capacity and limited dimensions.

2. Design and prototype of the return acceptance module with flawless identification of power banks.

3. Development of the main electronics and user interface in compliance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines.

4. Construction of the cloud system on IaaS servers and analysis of the front-end software.

5. Implementation of real-time transaction settlement algorithms.

6. Production of a prototype and 10 Release Candidate units.

7. Preparation of production documentation and EMC Pre-Compliance test report.
